Different States Continue To Reel Under The Effect Of Wildfires

Wildfires continue to wreck havoc in several different parts of Washington State on Wednesday. Other states like California, Idaho, British Columbia and Saskatchewan are also on the boil as fires continue to ravage the states too.

The hot and dry weather in summer has been conducive to various fires across the country. Washington and Oregon have to deal with 21 fires. Besides this, there are more than 100 fires burning across the Canadian border.

The area created a record when it comes to the highest number of consecutive days with temperatures soaring over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. As per detailed statistics drawn by the Department of Natural Resources, about 400 fires were reported in July as compared to the 275 recorded for July in the year 2014.

The Paradise Fire, as it is called, continues to show up its colors in the Olympic National Park. This stands out as one of the most humid places in the country. The fire is dubbed Gilmore Gulch  in the south, where it marches ever so slowly. It is reported to have devoured more than 5,000 acres of land.  Only 10 per cent of it was contained by Tuesday.

One of the ranchers is gearing up for the calamity with preparations for the livestock safely out of the ranch with the neighbours' help.

Other areas of Washington reported a reaction quite similar to this by the locals when a fire devoured an area of 10,000 acres north of Quincy. Combined Efforts of the local group resulted in the fire being doused successfully before it could destroy personal property.
