The attack on Bacha Khan University by the Pakistani Taliban has been another terrible disaster among many perpetrated by the terrorist group. The Pakistani Taliban has set fires to schools and they have opened fire at school children.
The peak of these attacks started during December of 2014 when Pakistani Taliban gunmen went into a Peshawar school and massacred the children. Now, just this past week they hit Bacha Khan University. There were four or more attackers who entered the campus of the university and shot 20 or more people, the majority of those being teachers and students. They attacked while most were still in their beds.
The most current attack on Bacha Khan University has brought about an urgency to take down the Pakistani Taliban. The gunmen apparently used the fog to hide going over a back wall of the campus and entering the dormitories. They have been described as spraying gunfire at students and one student was able to pull out his own gun aiming fire back at the gunmen allowing other students to run to safety, unfortunately he was shot and killed in the process.
A couple hours after the attack started, security was able to corner each attacker in the buildings. They were shot before they were able to set off their suicide vests.
